Scalby Mills and Sea life Centre
Scalby Mills is host to Scarborough’s Sea Life Centre. The centre houses thousands of incredible sea creatures, as well as a busy and highly successful marine sanctuary for sickly, injured and orphaned seal pups. An otter sanctuary has proved an overwhelming success and the sea turtles' convalescence facility has become a firm favourite.
Also, Scalby Mills provides access to the Cleveland Way, northbound via the footbridge at Scalby Mills near the Sea Life Centre. The walk will take you from Scarborough to Saltburn via a number of stunning locations such as Ravenscar, Robin Hood's Bay and Whitby.
